Online dispute resolution

The Regulation on Online Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (EU Regulation No. 524/2013) has been in force since 9 January 2016. The purpose of the Regulation is to increase the level of consumer protection by establishing a European ODR platform. This is an intermediary body that is intended to enable independent and rapid out-of-court online resolution of disputes between consumers and traders. The European ODR platform can be accessed via the following link:

https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

The task of the European ODR platform is to mediate the dispute reported by the consumer or trader, including the trader's email address(info@fritz-berger.de), to a national dispute resolution body (ADR entity) for out-of-court resolution.

Please note:

The above information is provided solely for the purpose of fulfilling the information obligations towards consumers arising from Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on the online settlement of consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on Online Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters).

In accordance with §36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG), we would also like to point out that we are not legally obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board, nor are we contractually obliged to do so.

In accordance with §37 of the Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (VSBG), we disclose the responsible consumer arbitration board as follows: General Consumer Arbitration Board of the Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V. Strassburger Straße 8 77694 Kehl am Rhein Website: www.verbraucher-schlichter.de

However, we declare that we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in any dispute resolution procedure.
