MT Travel Line folding modules are ready for use immediately and everywhere. It really doesn't get more universal than this: unpack - unfold - plug in. The monocrystalline high-performance cells provide plenty of power at any location. The practical folding modules are not only suitable for motorhomes, but can also be used in marine applications without any problems, as they are 100% seawater resistant. The workmanship is absolutely high-quality and guarantees a reliable power supply even under difficult conditions. The cells are safely encapsulated on an aluminum sandwich material and completely sewn into a tarpaulin fabric. Several industrial magnets are incorporated into the textile fabric, which also securely fix the module to vehicle surfaces. In addition, eyelets allow universal fastening. The Ttavel Line modules are equipped with a 10 meter long connection cable and a high-quality solar regulator. The solar regulator is simply plugged into the connection cable and is equipped with a universal plug, which is simply plugged into one of the existing sockets on the vehicle. The solar regulator is adjustable to the respective battery type and charges according to the given characteristic curves of the battery manufacturers.

This means: Depending on the size, between 25 and 50 ampere hours flow into such a box, so a 100 Ah on-board battery, from which about 50 ampere hours can be taken, is empty after one day. A solar system is the best and simplest solution for freelancers, apart from a generator - but also relatively costly. Much simpler, more universal and flexible is a mobile solar module. The Travel Liner MT SM 110 TL from Büttner Elektronik is a dream in terms of features and operation. The folding module with 110 watts of maximum power comes complete with charge controller and a plug for a twelve-volt outlet. Align, plug in and charge. Depending on the orientation and intensity of the sun, the module delivers between two and six amps per hour. In good weather, that's about 30 to 40 amp-hours back.

The clever double solution
We think the following idea is pretty clever:

Why not mount a permanently installed solar system on the roof and additionally carry a Travel Line folding module in the storage compartment? On the one hand, this elegantly solves possible space problems on the vehicle roof and, on the other hand, it helps those who like to park in the shade in the middle of summer, but still want or need to call up optimum charging power. The permanently installed solar module takes care of the basic supply of the on-board battery and when it comes down to it, the Travel Line module is simply unpacked and connected in parallel.
