Set up

Sleeping area

With an invitingly large 140 × 215 centimeter sleeping area, the Freelife Sport offers sleeping comfort for travelers in search of freedom. The 7 cm thick cold foam mattress with traditional striped, washable Cretonne bed cover makes sleeping in the great outdoors an enjoyable experience.
Dee separately suspended inner canopy is made of pure cotton and treated with fungicide protection. Thanks to the insulating ABS box, Autocamp creates in the Freelife Sport a natural and pleasant sleeping climate in all seasons under the open sky. To ensure that the large rear panoramic window is always in front of optimal scenery, the entrance can be flexibly from the left or right. Opening completely from three sides if necessary, the most beautiful views can be enjoyed during the day, while at night the breathing air can circulate freely during sleep without condensation forming. Insects have no chance thanks to mosquito nets at all entrances and windows.
Ingenious technology: To make handling with the car roof tent even more elegant, gas pressure springs have been built into the Freelife Sport. This makes it easy to open the roof tent by itself!

Material

The hard shell roof tent is enclosed in an upper and lower shell made of ABS plastic. The lightweight box construction is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): ABS is extremely impact and break resistant, UV resistant and thermally insulating. So neither heat nor cold can penetrate inside. The tent fabric is made of high-quality Airtex material. As a result, the roof tent can be folded even when wet and does not form mold and mildew stains. This high-tech fabric in the 240 g/m heavy version consists of a woven plastic fiber with an acrylate Teflon coating. It provides the fabric with long-term protection against environmental influences such as UV radiation, bird droppings, resins and dust, and is easy to clean if necessary. Available in white or black box versions, the "Freelife Sport" combines patented Autocamp technology with high-quality materials.
The lightweight aluminum ladder with adjusted treads is extendable and hooks onto one of the two sides. Thanks to adjustable feet with plastic support, the ladder offers optimal adjustability and a safe stand even on uneven ground.

Transport

Due to the weight of 65 kg, the Freelife Sport car roof tent can be lifted onto the roof rack with two people in no time and quickly installed. There it is fixed by supplied locking screws and is ready for departure in under 5 minutes. When closed, it measures just 34 centimeters in height and always remains reliably protected during transport by the ABS box.
Ingenious and safe: If the tent is not needed, it can be removed from the case to turn the roof tent into a full-fledged roof box or ski box! So that the roof tent or other valuables on the car roof can be taken anywhere, 4 locks safely protect the contents from theft.
