Product description

Separett Tiny is a separation toilet designed specifically for Tiny Homes and other small spaces such as camper vans, caravans, boats, gazebos, etc. All that is needed for installation is a power connection with 12 V or 110-240 V and a 50 mm pipe for ventilation of the toilet.

Ideal for smaller rooms
Tiny is our newest member of the Separett family. The simple and flexible design of the Separett Tiny was born from many years of development of partition toilets and offers the perfect fit for rooms with limited space.

Closed system
This model of the Tiny series contains both the liquid waste and solid excreta in two separate containers. If the toilet is used in a permanent residence with two people, the solid waste collection canister must be emptied once a week. The urine canister must be emptied 2-3 times per week. Thanks to the sensor-based level indicator of the urine canister, the Separett logo on the toilet lights up red when it needs to be emptied.

Hygienic and odorless
You can rely on the Tiny toilet thanks to its high level of operational reliability, and its installation is child's play. The faint odor that arises despite urine separation is led out by the fan and a better indoor climate is created by constant air circulation. At the same time the fan works quietly and effectively. The maximum effectiveness of the fan is achieved with continuous use.

Privacy screen
The privacy screen hides the solid excreta in the tank and automatically slides open when you sit down to go to the toilet. This way, you only see the waste when you empty the container.

User information
  1. Always sit down when you use the toilet. Position yourself slightly further back than you normally would so that the urine can be separated from the solid excreta.
  2. The privacy screen will automatically slide open as soon as you sit down.
  3. The toilet paper goes into the same bin as the solid waste.
How it works
Separating toilet Tiny separates urine from solid excreta and is equipped with a fan that extracts moisture and air. This creates an odorless environment. This model of the Tiny series collects both urine and solid excreta products inside the toilet, with the solid waste ending up in a compostable organic waste bag made of corn starch. The urine is collected in a canister. If the toilet is used permanently in a household with two people, the solid waste container must be emptied once a week, and the urine canister 2-3 times a week. The urine canister is equipped with a sensor-based level indicator that causes the separet logo on the toilet to light up red when it is time to empty it.

Placement of the toilet
Separett Tiny works equally well in cold and warm rooms, regardless of the room temperature. The only requirements are that the urine is drained and a ventilation pipe can be mounted.
The toilet must be placed on the floor against the wall. For extra stability, it should be fixed either in the floor, in the wall, or both.

Drill holes as described in the installation template
The enclosed installation template shows you the possible options for installing the urine drain and vent pipes through the wall behind the toilet or through the floor. These options allow installation without visible pipes.

Installation of the ventilation pipe
The toilet is designed for 50 mm pipes (outer diameter). For optimal functioning, we recommend that you use Separett's installation kit, which includes pipes and connections in the correct dimensions. Separett Tiny can be installed with up to 5 m of ventilation pipes and two 90° bends. Ventilation can be through a wall, the floor, the roof or a suitable side of the house to the outside. If there is already a ventilation pipe from a previous toilet installation, the toilet can be connected to it,
provided that the existing pipe is not smaller than 50 mm and meets the requirements. If you need a longer pipe that exceeds the above recommendations, you can install an extra fan (part number 13008). The toilet comes with a connector to connect the 40 cm long 50 mm pipe to a 1.5 inch pipe.

Installing the urine drain
The toilet is supplied with a 2 m urine hose. To connect this to the toilet, use the straight connection or the 90° connection. As with the installation of the vent pipes, it is possible to attach the urine hose so that no pipe is visible. This is achieved by angling the 90° connection downwards or by using the straight connection.

Please note: since our deliveries may contain batteries (single-use and rechargeable),
according to the German Law on Batteries (BattG) we must advise you of the following:

single-use and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with domestic waste, but rather you are legally required to return used batteries. Used batteries may contain damaging substances which, if not stored or disposed of appropriately, may damage the environment or your health. Batteries may, however, also contain important raw materials, such as, for example, iron, zion, magnesium or nickel, which can be recycled. Once used, you may either send the batteries back to us, or return them in
your vicinity (e.g. at the shop, communal recycling points or at our expedition warehouse) - free of charge. When returning used batteries to points of sale, the quantity you are allowed to return is limited to the quantity typical for a single end user, and to those batteries which the seller offers or used to offer in their product range.

The symbol with a rubbish bin crossed out means that you must not dispose of single-use and rechargeable batteries
along with the domestic waste. Underneath this symbol you will also find the following symbols which have the following
meanings:
Pb: battery contains lead
Cd: battery contains cadmium
Hg: battery contains mercury
