More and more motor home owners want a good Internet connection, for example, to stream the news from the ARD media library on a delayed basis or to continue watching their Netflix series while on vacation. Nor do they want to do without the electronic newspaper on their tablet or planning the next leg of their journey with Google Maps. And moving the home office into the caravan and mobile working while on the road are also among the wishes of campers. Inside the caravan, however, mobile phone reception or the campsite WLAN signal is often limited.

With the SELFSAT SNIPE 524, SNIPE 550 (item number: 565853) and SNIPE 5G (item number: 767044), SELFSAT offers three suitable solutions for stable and good WLAN coverage in the camper while traveling. At the heart of these solutions is a router that can receive an incoming WLAN signal from the outside or, thanks to an inserted SIM card, a mobile network signal and transmit it inside the vehicle as a WLAN signal. Good reception is ensured in all three versions by an external antenna that is mounted on the caravan and connected to the router inside the motor home. The antenna receives the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WLAN signal from the campsite, as well as the 4G LTE or 5G cellular network signal.

Connect the WLAN router to the campsite's WLAN network or to the cellular network through the outdoor antenna and use the long-range 2.4 GHz WLAN signal emitted by your WLAN router to surf the Internet with your smartphone or tablet, read an electronic newspaper, or stream from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, YouTube, or the TV channels' media libraries, for example, with your smart TV.
