Product description
The pole sections are all connected to each other. This makes the tent more weather resistant and simplifies pitching. The tent requires very few pegs - a great advantage when you pitch it on rocky terrain, for example. The inner tent and outer tent are also connected to each other and are simply plugged onto the pole system. This is very handy if you need to pitch the tent in the rain.
On the opposite side of the entrance is a zippered flap that provides access to a smaller vestibule. Here you can protect gear from the rain, such as your boots.
The outer tent is coated with polyurethane on the inside and silicone on the outside. This means that in addition to its high-strength ripstop properties, it is also permanently waterproof. The EXOLIGHT I has a single entrance that also serves as a ventilation opening. The entrance flap can be held open with the special clips on the poles. The inner tent is made entirely of mosquito netting.

The water column provides information about the material tightness. To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.
