Product description
For space-optimised air pipe routing through the floor.
When air ducts have to be routed from the interior through the floor, under the vehicle and back again, the limited bend radius of the air pipe can mean a lot of interior space is taken up. In addition, there may be heat losses at transition points and splash water from the floor area. It takes a lot of effort to seal these points effectively.
The new Truma inverted siphon pipe provides assistance here. This is a double-walled plastic moulding with openings into which the air pipes can be inserted.
Benefits
Shorter assembly time, as there is no need for any cumbersome pushing of the pipe through the floor. The connecting sleeve for continuation is also eliminated.
The pipe is fixed with a clip in seconds, which allows for more variable installation in the interior.
Clean, watertight passage of the air tube, as the inverted siphon pipe is screwed from below to the ground with a wide ring support and sealed with plastic body sealant. Prevention of heat loss due to the inverted siphon pipe double wall.
Use of a double pipe system, which is inserted into the inverted siphon pipe and sealed with plastic body sealant, complete closure of the openings in the floor by wide ring support of the inverted siphon pipe.
Alternative use of two different pipe systems possible.
