The Cot One Convertible from Helinox is a comfortable camp bed for all those who are looking for "upscale" comfort even outdoors and - be it because of vermin, stones or unevenness - do not want to lie directly on the floor. But nobody likes to carry bulky and heavy camping beds around with them. Helinox solves both problems with the Cot One Convertible: the high-tech field bed is light, packs small, is transportable and comes with a unique tensioning mechanism.
Sleeping on a camp bed offers many advantages. The raised position keeps insects and other small animals away. Even sharp stones and uneven, cold or wet ground are no problem
To assemble the Cot One Convertible, anodised DAC aluminium rods are passed lengthwise through the support. As you would expect from Helinox products, the rods are connected on the inside with elastic bands. Thus it unfolds as if by itself. Three crossbars are attached to these longitudinal bars, in which the unmistakable tensioning mechanism of the Cot One Convertible is integrated. The cross members are first hooked on one side. With a lever and a little force, they are then tensioned on the other side until the two side knobs engage and tighten the support.
