Camping as a sustainable form of vacation
Secretly, we have always known it: if you opt for a vacation in a camper van or caravan, you basically impact the environment with a significantly lower CO₂ footprint than a comparable trip by plane or cruise ship. In addition, overnight stays at a campsite are significantly lower in emissions than a stay at a hotel. This was proven by the ifeu study "Klimabilanz von Reisen mit Reisemobilen und Caravans" 2020.
So sustainability and camping can complement each other perfectly. That's why you'll find tips here to help you save resources on your camping vacation.

Conscious corporate structure
As a company, we have set ourselves the goal of saving energy and exploiting further potential for savings in order to become more sustainable. But sustainability encompasses much more for us: For many years now, we have been striving to minimize our ecological footprint in all areas of the company and to use resources as efficiently as possible. That's why our headquarters in Neumarkt has been virtually self-sufficient since 2012 thanks to a large photovoltaic system. For our packaging and filling material, we pay attention to recyclable paper, just as our catalog is printed on environmentally friendly paper every year - this is also confirmed by the EU Ecolabel.
